    I have noticed that whenever  a Republican says something "stupid" or incorrect, it is jumped on by the press and the political left (remember those Dan Quayle statements?).  On the other hand, Bill Clinton and his associates can say anything, no matter how stupid, and have it go relatively unnoticed (How about Algore and commenting on Michael Jordan?).  To counter this double standard, I have included a list of some of the often overlooked statements of the political left and the political extreme.
